If Rosario could bust him up and put him on the run at 134, I'm pretty damn sure Pac could do it at 130. Pac fights at a much faster pace than Rosario too, not to mention if Pacquiao finds out you can't hurt him he'll just go completely ape****.

No way Macho wins this, imo.

I'm a HUGE fan of EM, JMM and most especially MAB. I didn't like Manny getting credit for beating them past their best days and I hated *******s constantly saying he could have done it at their best. Unlike a lot of people, my opinion can be changed in the face of new information, and the way he blitzed Hatton was new information. I think Pac has gotten better with each weight jump, he stayed too small too long and he looks ****ing unbeatable at 140, an absolute monster. Not just because of that vicious punch, but because of the defense he showed, the powerful two-handed attack he employed and the fact that he could have fought at that pace all night long. None of the big 3 can hang with him at 140 imho. At fw he fits right in with the big 3, at 135 I make him a slight favorite against any of them, at 140 I'd damn near give 2-1 on him unless JMM just SHOCKS me against PBF.

I'm not stupid. I don't want to miss this ride just so I can keep being a hater.

Let me put it another way: If Pac can beat Cotto and then PBF, he will go down as one of the greatest p4p fighters in boxing history, with damn good reason. One of the VERY greatest.

What can I say? He convinced me.

And speaking purely to the topic of this thread... I don't believe Camacho is on his level. It would turn out to be a mismatch.

I still would say Rosario at that stage is a more complete fighter then Pac at 130..Better shot selection and better counter punching instincts. I think he was better equipped technically to land those shots and time Camacho then Pac would have been at that stage.

Pac's last two fights at 130 you could probably use as evidence for Camacho giving him trouble, more so then the other way around. A more tactical, defensive minded MAB didnt make him look particularly good..He lost to Marquez IMO, and was outscored by a man who doesnt possess the handspeed of Macho.

I complelely agree that fight is just about over as soon as Manny lands enough big shots to get Camacho running scared..I just think the speed of hand and foot that Hectors possesses would definitely offset Manny for a while...maybe long enough to edge it on points.

The problem with that theory is that both MAB and JMM are also on a higher level than Macho. I also think that just everybody knows that Manny COULD have turned it up a notch against MAB, made it a bloody war and maybe got him out of there, but he was smart enough to realize that MAB was just waiting for him to get careless and crazy and he just didn't want to give him the opportunity. Re JMM, well.... he's JMM and he's just a baaaaaad mofo. We're lucky to have him and Manny operating at the same time, and I hope like hell they meet again even though I'm not sure JMM can bring it at 140 like he could at the lower weights.

Hector has the possibililty of bothering ANY fighter at that weight with his speed and elusiveness, especially a fighter who's slow of foot, but Manny isn't slow of foot. He's quick. Maybe quicker than Hector.

If you click that Pac wins you're just feeding the Pac hatred so I am opting out of this particular thread.

Interesting to see how many people choose Pacquaio to stop Camacho when he went the distance with Chavez and a peaking Trinidad and Oscar. I just don't see it happening.

I love Pac and I love to agree with you on the levels of the two but Camacho was unbelievably fast. Although Pac could overwhelm him given that Camacho was fast but mostly potshots though.
