Hector Macho Camacho vs Vasily Lomachenko, Prime For Prime, 135 lbs.

Camacho IMO.

The Linares and Campbell fights have been enough to show me that Loma isn't other-worldly at 135.

Camacho's clinic against Ramirez was more impressive than anything Loma has done at lightweight.

I made a very similar point, mentioning Ramirez by name, and the gut-check against Rosario.

 

Unless the topic is Floyd, Fury, Wilder, or Canelo, dont expect responses on the general forum to such a matchup.

Camacho easily. His speed was like a ninja at 130 & 135.

 

Camacho was far more impressive against much better
competition prior to getting hammered by Rasario.
Lomo's competition and activity is very suspect.
Camacho would defeat Lomo comfortably.
Possibly stop him.

 

135 is not the best weight for Lomo as it was for Camacho but I still would put my money on Lomo. I just flat out can't get enough of him and he is hands down my favorite fighter to watch these days. He is one of the most technically sound guys I have ever seen. I just simply can see him finding a way to win.

 

Camacho ran against Rosario and Loma is far more skilled than Rosario was, he would have landed far more shots on Rosario than Camacho did.

 

Nobody in history could defeat Loma comfortably, he`s too skilled.

 

Loma is far better than Camacho was, his jab would be too much as would his head movement.

 

Macho Man without a doubt...he was phenomenal at 135..and for the bogus reason of being a "head case" after Rosario (he still won), Camacho is a ridiculously underrated fighter, as far as I'm concerned. Even taking the loss to Chavez into account...I'd like to see any fighter around today, or from the last 40 years manfully take the punishment that Hector did and remain on their feet. Loma isn't nearly as tested and proven...and his opposition has sucked compared to Camacho's.

Camacho didn't suffer his 1st loss until close to 40 fights into
his pro career. Fighting much better competition I will add.
Lomo hasn't fought since Aug of last year. He's 32 yrs of
age. How much better do you think he'll get at this pace?
At his rate of fighting he'll be in his late 40's by the time
he has as many wins as Camacho did before he lost his
1st fight.

One of those sentences is far less childish than the other, if you can`t work out which one then you deserve disrepect also, Loma`s skill level is amazing, his jab is brilliant and constant, his head mvement is far more consistent than Camacho`s was. Camacho was not a top 5 all-time great lightweight, no way.
