This matchup is very intriguing for the athleticsim and incredible speed both boxers brought to the table at the 140lb class (although Camacho was better at the lighter weights). Camacho had great speed and lateral movement, while Judah had great one punch speed and power. Opinions?
Hector Camacho would be too elusive and far too quick for Zab Judah, at least IMO. I think Camacho's punches were shorter, and crisper, I think he would stick and move all night and bring home a lop-sided decision. This isn't too say Zab Judah is a bad fighter - I'm just saying in his prime, "The Macho Man" was truly an astonishing, talented individual.
Give me Camacho also, but in a cautious performance due to a speed comprable to his own with legitimate power. Camacho could keep the mental edge in a tactical match as the last poster said.
ACB, interesting enough, I put up a thread on Macho earlier. I just found out that he has two other sons that box in the amatuers. Hopefully, one of them or both fight like their father. Unlike Macho, Jr. who is throwing his career away coming in at 170.
This guy is a joke, I remember watching him on Fox Sunday Night Fights 7 or 8 years ago thinking he was going to be good. What a disappointment.
