Hedgemon when faced with someone attempting to "Box"with him could be a mightly skilled and mobile handful, Carlos Palomino found out what a sedate pace would cost you against this fellow, Even Jose Napoles had his educated hands full the first time round, Jose learnt his lesson, and second time round he jumped on Hedge and gave him little respite in which to relax into his undoubted skills, it was ruder..cruder..and more effective gaining Jose the dominant stoppage, against John H Stracey, the best of Hedge lasted a round , the first...John H built up his pressure and ground Hedgemon down...And Straceys pressure was perhaps not as vigorous as Jones, the welsh Dragons would be, this might look like Jones's fights with Kirk Laing, being out manoeuvred in the early going, but as Milt McCrory twice found out...when the welsh dragon is breathing down your neck...your gonna get singed at best...

At worst ...Jones had a good Jab and 12 round stamina, particularly in a cooler environment, and Hedge is not as Robust as a Curry at his best...i fear it will only take Hedge to Zig when he should Zag...and Jones punches with the power, that should he connect correctly the Hedge will be Trimmed...Colin does what Colin Does...Keeps coming until he does so...could be a Long chase as Hedge in full survival mode is a hard guy to Pin down...Colin circa 8th for me...he finally finds the Shot he is looking for...
