Respect to heel turn AJ for publicly acknowledging he has no gas tank, none. next up from heel turn AJ: “I have a glass jaw” “I QUIT against Andy Ruiz” “My best win is Joey twelve Parker” heel turn AJ the realest don in all of boxing yo
"Yo Cousin Benga!" is 2022's "Yo Adrian!" "Look at me, I'm not a 12 round fighter!" "i'm heavy. It's hard work"
it's like an AA meeting "Hello, my name is Anthony, and I'm a gassed out bodybuilder" "i'm not a boxer. I'm only here because I got busted for weed"
The 2nd round against Whyte was when the penny dropped for me what was to unfold in the future. Rice Pudding Ruiz Jnr was not in my script at all and he was much worse than I thought. His power looked decent against puddings ready to fall over but proved to be average at best when Parker, Takam and Ruiz took his best with ease. He will bash up old men and puddings while Earn pretends to the PPV Mugths these wins are over all time greats in 50/50 fights. Now we are about to see exactly the same with Connor Benn in the future whether v Eubank or any decent World Champion. Hard times ahead for the Humble Fans
"Somebody help me. I'm eighteen stone!" "i can't throw combinations!" "i only been boxing 14 years!" "i have no skill" "Civil war or something. it's not nice. Lomachenko, right or wrong?"
Truth right here. The matchroom formula has always been packaging over content. “I’m spinning a yarn for the punters here koogs, somebody stop me!” History will remember this era for Fury’s win over eleven year undefeated super champion VLADD, his remarkable comeback story and the Wilder Trilogy. USKY will be remembered as a great cruiser no doubt, but right now at heavy he has beaten fifteen losses shot old del, and the guy who QUIT against Andy fcking Ruiz. I’m not convinced Fury gets any credit for beating a 220lb feather fisted cruiserweight who’s toughest test at heavy was the shot to pieces old version of the guy Fury schooled twice ten years ago.
By the way: How tired I am of all the "experts" who now say that AJ will have to return to the ring in December. AJ took a lot of heavy punches against Usyk and he needs a long break where he can recover. Why are there so many people trying to put pressure on AJ to box in December ?
it is Eddie Hearn who said it. i think most people agree he should think about take a long break., to recover mentally and physically. a long proper break, away from everything boxing and away from media/celebrity-related. that's what he should do. but Eddie Hearn said somethings that is contrary to that.
So far, AJ has been a success story. I know of several negative stories that would really hurt AJ's popularity that the press has failed to write because it didn't fit into the story of AJ, but after his stupid behavior saturday night after the fight, I can imagine that the journalists will find the knives. The good image that the public has of AJ risks being destroyed.
