just been told at the Langford Welborn fight that Mark told Warren last week that he wants two more fights before he fights the winner of tonight’s fight because he’s changed trainer and needs to adapt to his new trainers techniques now if this is true what the **** is Mark afraid of ? This has come of someone who works in Warrens office
I’m on my way home went to support Tommy but that’s what I’ve been told believe what you like time will tell
Well he is fighting in Leicester in a few weeks anyway, so one more after that is that much of a shock for him to want that , then the fight with Welborn maybe early spring? You seem to know a lot of people in the industry with inside info!!
Listen mate I have connections within the game and there’s no secrets in this game for the record I’ve supported mark for years I know his dad Tommy really well top bloke is Tommy
Heffron has tweeted see you in December to Welborn! your having a mare with these sources of yours!! surely this is on the Warrington/ Frampton under card !
certain then it will be on Frampton undercard. How do you see it going mate? I think it will be a close fight.
dont know what to make of welborn. on paper a light punching workman. but against langford he reinvented himself showing surprising power. but Maybe that was more a case of langford getting exposed as a brittle chinned pretender. hefron seems more talented, better movement/mobility. more Punch Variety. and on paper more power. but he never fought at this Level.
Don’t be mistaking Welborn’s 23% KO ratio for a lack of power or a weakness in Langford’s chin. He is clearly suited to 160 and was too boiled down at 147 and 154. He suits 160. I like Heffron but I worry that his resume’ hasn’t prepared him for the scrap that Welborn will bring. He’s patient and methodical, and likes to pick his shots but Welborn isn’t interested in boxing, he’s going to make it a war. Will Heffron show the discipline to stick to his boxing, pick his shots and nick the rounds or will he allow himself to get drawn into a scrap. It’s in Heffron’s hands this one.
