Don't watch any Muhammad Ali or Ray Robinson, then.

You always say this but that's not what they ****ing did. They did it in some fights, at least Ali did later on in his career, but they didn't do it in all of their fights. They didn't do it in the good fights they are known for.

Anyway, it's been a while since I last watched Robinson. Which fight are you thinking of? Mostly, I just remember him as dancing around with a lot of lateral movement and teeing off on guys.

Thanks, but I'll watch them and enjoy. Clearly you're talking about only a very small %of their fights that were holding. And that's why you should watch more fights and enjoy. People point to them, but even in their worst wrestling events they threw enough leather to knock your soft azz threw the roof.

Watch these fights, don't repeat your besties.. okay

There are exceptions. It's kinda funny to see an undersized fighter like Rigo outbox and humble his taller opponents from the outside. Loma vs Rocky Martinez is another. It's not size as much as the skill level.

Ali started doing it excessively from age 31 on, that's why I think he isn't as great as many claim he is.

Wladimir did the exact same thing and got away with it too, but what does Klitschko have to do with Russians?

No disrespect to a great fighter but truth is truth, without Hearns there is no Lewis or Vlad...

Then why doesn't the shorter fighters learn? The answer, in-fighting is risky. If you miss with the uppercut, you'll catch a hook vs any skilled fighter who knows what he's doing. Also he' can be worn down by the heavier man in the clinch and fighters have to be wary of a clash of heads.

Being much shorter means you have less range as you need to punch upwards to land head shots. Also when you are shorter, you have less area to add weight.

Shorter in almost all cases in boxing is not an asset. Some exceptions, are ducking punches and recovering slightly faster from a miss in general.
