People are making an issue about how much bigger Haney is than Loma but Loma has a consistent record of beating taller/longer opponents (all good fighters) who hit a lot harder than Haney: Luke Campbell 5’9”—71 inches. Wins by KO 80% Jamaine Ortiz 5’8”—69 inches. Wins by KO 44% Richard Commey 5’8”--71 inches. Wins by KO 70% Masayoshi Nakatani 5’11”--71 inches. Wins by KO 60% Jose Pedraza 5’8.5”—70.5 inches. Wins by KO 48% Jorge Linares 5’8”—69 inches. Wins by KO 62% Devin Haney 5’8”—71 inches Wins by KO 52% Joshua's height/reach advantage was of little help against Usyk and I see this fight going the same way in Loma's favor.
I think everything you say is correct, I also think Loma isn't Loma anymore thanks to age. I have Haney winning just because I don't believe The Matrix can do the things he used to do.
Fury ragdolls men who can normally handle themselves. He pushes 250 pound powerhouses around like they are babies.
If AJ and Usyk are your example, then mine would be this: Hearns height/reach advantage was of little help against Hagler...
Haney dont hit hard enough so his size won’t play any factor against Loma, he’s not an aggressive fighter who leans on guys. He’s a slick pot shot counter puncher very much in the mould of Floyd.
Haney is no Hearns and Loma isn`t as robust as Hagler, Tommy had power, Haney doesn`t, Hagler had a chin made out of iron, Loma is not a natural lightweight.
