Helenius SD vs Yury Bykhautsou (10-15 ) How bad is this guy? I thought we'd have a real contender on our hands with Helenius. And he was competitive vs Whyte? How good/bad is Whyte really! Chisora beat this guy back in his prime. Duhaupas really took his soul it seems. Changes tommorow night a bit - maybe swinging in big Daddy's favour ever so slightly. Thoughts?
To put it into persepctive - this same guy was knocked out in 3 by both Richard Towers and Haye's mate, Arnold Gjergja
Broke his hand on 2round. Was disgusting robbery also, you could argue Helenius lost all 8rounds. Helenius should retire, but probably stay one two year to collect little more money. Prime Helenius was okay or good, top 10-20 caliber. Current Helenius is comparable to these mexican taxi drivers
Helenius is an absolute joke but he still hurt Whyte in the first round IIRC which just goes to show how likely it will be that Big Daddy KHTFO.
Can't see Big Daddy having too many problems with Whyte flag. The flag goes up when Whyte goes down in the middle rounds.
All depends on what Browne has been up to since mathew Greer almost a year ago. Has it been intensive training or hanging about waiting for a pay packet. Still too hard to pick a winner. Still, Whyte isn't that great it seems. A tough one.
Bykhautsou clearly beat Helenius but was robbed. Helenius isn't even a fringe contender now, he can't beat weak jorneymen convincingly. That shows us how bad Dillian Whyte really is as Helenius is his 2nd best win (1st is robbery vs past prime Dereck Chisora). Whyte has no skills, no balance, no ring IQ. Average power (if we're generous to him), speed and decent chin for HW and that's it.
Robert Helenius is the prime example of the difference between when you have a good team/management and promoter behind you, and when you go it alone. His career has gone completely backwards downhill since leaving Sauerland.
There are parallels with David Price's career in terms of form and confidence. Has the potential; has the power; has the size. Price though had a good team around him. Helenius..not sure what the hell happened. Weak spirited? Lacking killer instinct? Maybe there was an underlying personal problem with the guy we don't know about.
This content is protected Clearly broken hand. Maybe he fought the fight of his life vs Whyte and Whyte is a solid top fifteen heavy
Still boggles my mind that he has fought 3 times here in Estonia. (One was an exhibition) Pro boxing has seen some light in recent years but it has never been big here, so i doubt he was offered much money. We have had like only 60 boxers turn pro, majority of whom moved to a different country. Won one silver medal in the Olympics and one dude went the 10 round distance with Jake Lamotta(which is really cool).
