38-year-old Finnish giant Robert Helenius (31-3, 20 KOs) wanted to clarify to the press that he is the real official challenger to the WBA heavyweight title. In 2020. Helenius, then seventh in the rankings, beat Pole Adam Kownacki in what was officially authorized as a WBA final elimination.

"The Nordic Nightmare", however, never managed to get a chance to world champion and after 19 months, in 2021, he beat Kownacki again.

"I am rightly the official challenger of the Wba so I expect to be called by the organization as the next opponent of the winner of Usyk vs Joshua" - Helenius declares to Sky Sports - Unfortunately there have been other matches recognized as eliminatory but this time they will not have to there are doubts about my position. Any match that is promoted as a preliminary round will be "a hoax." My lawyers are very confident that the WBA has messed this whole thing up, so I'm confident in my position. "I should definitely be next if it doesn't happen it will be courtrooms. to let me have what I deserve-
All this a week after Manuel Mahmoud Charr, former Regular Wba champion, announced that he will take the Wba and Don King to court because he is convinced that he has been scammed in various situations after compiling the rankings of merit continuously manipulated for years.

Thoughts? Will Usyk face Helenius after Joshua? Or will Fury the next?

I see Helenius being fed to Usyk or AJ as long as other, more viable opponents are busy or want to negotiate higher purses.

Good fight for Usyk. Maybe even at the end of the year.

We all know that WBC belt will be vacated next year. So, until then, we can have a lof of solid fights.

Helenius made a mistake swimming in the WBA Heavyweight Bermuda Triangle. He'll be waiting there with Charr and Oquendo.

Cruiserweighter(206lbs) Yury Bykhautsou beat Helenius, and not 1, but 2 times in a row. He's number 318 cruiserweight with 25 losses. You should watch their first fight and think twice about Helenius perspectives.Sorry, but i don't buy that hype. It's just to earn more money from Wilder's fight

With heavyweights it always annoys me that they are not active enough.
Tbey all wait around after beating a gatekeeper like Chisora or someone similair to get that payday championship fight rather then really be active enough to deserve it.
Helenius should fight Wilder like they said.
If he somehow beats him then you can argue he deserves a shot.
    For noe he deserves nothing.
