It appears Kalle Sauerland already promised him a shot. Terrible but that's how the WBA/Sauerland circle jerk has always operated.
Ok, but inactive is inactive and going from 29 to 35 having only 3 or 4 fights again he lost 2 of them he's getting ko'ed by Helenius thats fact.:good
Heavyweights deal with age far better then the lower weight classes, and Sergei is actually much lighter then he was years ago. There's also tons of old heavyweights that are either the best in the world or very good. Also, Sergei is back with the trainer that kept him focused and gave him a gameplan against Brewster, which was the best win of his career.
I think I'm starting to buy into Liakovitch's hype train a little bit. Not enough that I think he's going to win, but enough that I can understand wagering a bit of money on the underdog.
u serious, dude? come on. did u see his last fight? he had a war with quinn. he wont be able to take helenius's power shots for 12 rounds. no freakin' way.
Helenius betting odds just went from -1100 to -1700 all the smarts are loading up on Helenius and I see by fight time he will be around -2200.
Helenius at 243lbs is the same weight he was when he fought a war with Shot Brewster, but this time he looks better conditioned, with no belly.
