The chances of Usyk getting robbed in this one are very high

'Anthony Joshua was actually winning his fight with Oleksandr Usyk after eight rounds, according to one judge.

Joshua was slow to get going in the bout with Usyk and as a result many pundits and fans believed he had conceded a number of the opening rounds.

But promoter Eddie Hearn has shared the scorecards on Instagram which show one judge felt the Brit had slightly edged the Ukrainian two-thirds of the way through the contest.

'Joshua's red judge Howard Foster had him two points up on 77-75 after giving five rounds to AJ and three rounds to Uysk'

And Foster had it 115-113 at the finish, in a fight Usyk dominated. He scored round 1 to AJ

Why on earth would Helenius do that? What a strange opinion

This is a very legit concern. Joshua Fury is a massive money fight even if AJ’s victory is a suspect one on the cards. Usyk will need to dominate this time to get a split. If he beats AJ by anything less than a landslide, look for a robbery on the cards. Fans will soon forget or play dumb and boxing will slither on. I hope AJ knocks him out this time. He came close in the final round and is going to have to finish the job this time to take it out of the hands of the judges.

If Usyk wins, I don’t think Fury will fight him and the boxing money guys know this. Boxing’s corrupt promoters and money guys really want Usyk to lose this fight even though most fans seem to be rooting for Usyk.

    Why?

    1. Because he is 99.99% certain to get brutally KO'd by Wilder if he fights him. It could be worth the money, but if he gets beat he'll never get a title shot. He will likely end his career by being brutally KO'd.

    2. He could sue to try and become a mandatory, but he doesn't deserve it. What the **** has he done to earn a title shot?

    3. Dubois is rank one, so Helenius could call out Dubois, and if he beats him he would like become mandatory. 1st vs 3rd for a title eliminator. At least then he could argue he's earned a title shot, although that is debatable. Dubois is a safer fight than Wilder if what Helenius wants is a title shot.

So I suppose suing could be a lucrative option, but I failed to see what his case will be and beating rank #1 contender would be a safer bet.

It’s entirely about money at this stage of his career - it has nothing to do with what ‘Vegan Beast’ thinks is right.

Yep. Team Usyk must be and I hope they're aware of this.

In Eddie Hearn's own words AJ vs Fury is the biggest fight of all time

Man, I kinda like Helenius. I'd rather see Fury vs AJ/Usyk, but I'm all for viking bob getting a last shot at glory.

I understand, but what I'm saying is his case for being the mandatory for the Usyk/Joshua winner is weak. What is his argument going to be? Who decides who's #1?

What I'm saying is his best chance of getting the big fight he wants is to fight Dubois.

Either than or settle for fighting an ex champ for about 5x less.

I don't think this fight will go this distance, at least not without a knockdown.

THere's no way this goes 12 rounds without someone getting floored. Either Usyk is going down in Joshua's early onslaught, or Joshua is gassed by round 8, and Usyk TKO's him late

Dubois vs Helenius makes sense in the WBA.

Dubois is #1, Helenius is #3, should be number 2 really.

Both have had recent victories and claimed WBA's other belts.

Dubois vs Helenius for a title shot makes sense.

Yeah I do too but if Usyk wins the Fury fight has to come next. Usyk deserves it just for being Usyk

Usyk is looking for the stoppage. Check the scene. He's sending guys home and is sparring more aggressive than he usually is apparently. I think Joshua will get taken out sometime after round 9.
