I agree, Helenius isn't perfect, but Holyfield is getting too old. He seemed to have his last great showing against Valuev, but looked **** ever since, even against mediocre opposition. If you get outboxed by a 40 year old White Buffalo before he winds, you can be sure that Helenius will wreck you. I mean, look at the Peter KO. That **** was pretty brutal. Wouldn't wish it on Holy.
Watch the ending of Helenius-Liakhovich when he is finishing off Sergei. Helenius has a look of pure bloodlust on his face. This guy is a closer, with heavy hands and a killer instinct.
He looked horrible against Sherman Williams, and I thought Botha was outboxing him most of the early rounds of their fight. And in his next fight he somehow lost two rounds to a guy who hadn't fought in a decade. If Holyfield takes this, he's probably toast.
If Wladimir had Helenius' killer instinct, he would be the greatest champion of all time. Helenius needs to work on his conditioning, but this guy has things that you can't learn in the gym. Natural gifts.
Yeah, that was the other one in my mind. Absolutely brutal. The Warrior is in for a beating here. :-( He might have been better off fighting Povetkin, even if Povetkin is better (which is not a given of course).
What a great contribution that one-liner of yours gives to a thread of Helenius vs Holyfiled :happy You would NOT be a Helenius HATER by any chance? :hey:yep
Yes, and The White Wolf fought a good, tough fight. But when Helenius smells blood, his whole look changes -- he gets a crazed look in his eye. Really, Holyfield should not be licensed to take that fight.
