First thing I thought was "This could be Holyfield's funeral" when I read the thread title, though I really hope that doesn't happen even if he gets knocked out. Holyfield's been fighting wars since before I was born and has taken countless punishment on his body and mind.
Nice name, Ulver is a great band.

Good points in Holyfield's favor there, but he's just too old. :-(

I can't see it working out for Holyfield here. Helenius might not be a perfect prospect, but he's good dynamite in both hands despite not looking like it. He's deceptively powerful in there and Holy fights a LOT older in the ring and less sharp than did even 10 years ago.

Don't think so. On the Euro forum, someone translated a statement where Helenius siad he'd be afraid of killing Holy. We all know the Klits feel the same, and Povetkin turned him down.

If Holy wants another shot, he is going to have to earn it with a series of fights.

I think Vander may fight old and legs are still carryin him around to step in and stay out. I can't say with precision about how fast can he click, step in and wisely get out of danger. Whether Helenius has dynamite and is deceptively heavy handed/fast puncher or not as much, I can't say. Sherman Williams is not a good thing to think about looking forward to this... However, Holy loves to engage in wars, trade, go beyond the barrier, sometimes it works for him ( Bowe goes down in 1995), sometimes it is just too painful for a fan to watch ( Larry Donald for instance)... The fact is that Holy can box, punch and has the know-how so why would he not do it... There have been some 12 years since people have warned Holy about himself, his health and his commitment to keep it on. But ever since, he was the only one to knock Bowe down, beat Tyson, stand up twice to Lewis, fight three times Ruiz, comeback from a stoppage against Toney, went to Moskow against Iggy, went to Europe to fight giant Valuev so... The man loves it.
