Helenius has a very solid chin but is fairly unskilled & seems to have lost power since his injury. I think Price is a better boxer but is also very vunerable, plus his confidence will be low at the moment. Helenius TKO in the midrounds whilst behind on points Edit: I think Helenius beat him in the amatuers
At the moment Helenious wins. Price is in need of a couple of confidence boost/try out new things type fights before he fights someone like Helenius.
Helenius would probably knock him out, would Price be able to knock him out before Helenius lands something big?
Price is faster, stronger and more skilled, but he will lose because he has the worst chin in the division.
I wouldn't bet on a Price fight, he will either win by KO in the first 3-4 round or lose by KO in the same time frame but it's hard to predict who lands first.
I'm not sure a chubby Thompson was exactly Mr Swift and he still caught Price pretty fast. When Price fights a tall guy like Helenius he has to reach in a bit more to land his punches and that means he's left more open to a counter. I don't particularly rate Helenius but I wouldn't say Price is a sure bet against him.
They are the same age. Fought in the amateurs two times, Helenius won both times. Helenius has fought better competition and has proven that his chin is atleast average, if not good. After seeing the punch that dropped Price, there is no way in hell that Pricey would survive with Helenius. As I said earlier, Price is faster, stronger and more skilled, but he has zero punch resistance.
Could go either way, would expect Price to KO him but with that being said wouldn't suprise me if he got ko'd himself.
Price KO. David might have a crap chin but Helenius is one of the most overrated fighters in the sport. Euro-level at best yet he's sold as some monster world beater. Only ever beaten journeyman and badly faded ex-champs. Chisora, his first decent opponent, made him look ****ing stupid. Providing he doesn't leave his chin up in the air I'd see Pricey stopping him. This would actually be a decent fight for David IMO to help get his foot back on the ladder, hopefully Maloney considers trying to make it.
