Both have power and size, but Helenius has proved his metal in wars where he has dugged out wins despite battling with injuries and pain.
Interesting match up but Helenius may not be as good as he appeared in this particular fight. Then again, he might be that good. We're going to have to see him versus better opponents to determine that. At this point I'm leaning toward favoring Wilder because of his consistency and apparently better robustness. If Helenius does great against a formidable opponent :think then it goes to a pick 'em 50%-50% fight. Good opponents? Maybe Ustinov ( it's not like Fury is in a hurry to fight him )
It is intersting matchup, but I also see as one which both fighters at this point of their careers want to avoid; as both want to built up hype for the Klitschko matchup. We are talking here about two very similar fighters at core, and I see both men having a chance in this one: a very hard-to-predict-outcome.
Wilder is way better than Helenius......do you Wilder bashers really believe that Helenius can beat Stirverne?? let alone Wilder...
He boxes circles around Slowverne.... Do you really think the guy who was getting outboxed by Arreola, and Ray Austin couldn't get outboxed by Helenius? GTFO.
Easy night at work for Wilder. I've never understood the major hype treatment that Helenius received to be honest. Very limited.
If Helenius is serious, he needs to line up a real contender or two. I figure he probably would beat Arreola but it would help his credibility. More interesting would be if he took on Stiverne.
