After the fight I thought I'd come on here & everyone would be giving Sultan credit for his chin. Silly me..................
Wlad's jabs are like some other Heavyweights power punches. I give Sultan credit for a very solid chin.
but its meaningless. The maskaev Peter winner will fight Vitali and th ewinne rof that will be THE Champion, Vitali did retire as the champ in everyones eyes afterall and held the WBC, RING, some say lineal and in fact beat the lineal WBO champion Sanders although the WBO didnt want to unify their belt so stripped Sanders. I predict Vitali will be The champ and hopefully fight Wlad but it wont happen and Wlad will never become The champion as a result.
Fighters don't bring their titles back with them after years out of the ring.:good Vitali will not be ring champ when he returns, even if he returns by winning the title.
In no way does the winner of Maskaev vs. Peter & the winner of that vs. Vitali become higher ranked than Wladimir is right now. He unified 2 of the 4 belts - period. Simple logic really.
And even when Vitali knocks out the winner of Maskaev vs. Peter he'll still only have 1 belt, until he beats whoever has the WBA when the time comes. Then he'd be equal.
Widdow, Ruskull, Redood......you all were so impressed with Vlad's tactical domination....... ....recommended viewing, Lewis-Tua, Lewis Akinwande, and the best of all Byrd-Williamson! Domination at its very best!:rofl :rofl :rofl :nut Trying to defend and go as far as saying the Vlad was dominant vs Sultan, is an embarrassment to this forum!:-( :!: WOW!:-(
Mike Tyson and Holyfield were better fighters to watch and better champions than Wlad. I don't like Vitali's style but you can tell his balls are way bigger than his younger brother's.
So... then go watch some old Holyfield and Tyson videos. Why are you wasting your time watching Wlad, and then posting about him?
Have you ever seen Wlad actually get into an exchange with an opponent? I am actually being serious here, I don't think I've ever seen him actually eat a few or block and then fire back. He's always pawing away and the clutching when an opponent comes near. At least Holyfield and others would throw caution to the wind and recognize that boxing is a war of attrition at times. I have a feeling his spoiled, rich background have benefited him negatively in terms of aggresiveness and desire.
