    announcing the pirog/GGG fight that has a date
    in late may. not a thread or post from this
    site, but an article with an announcment from a credible

    Oh, and King Khan. don't pull the 5-31-12 article from b oxing scene
    where it says Pirog-GGG 90% done. That aint done! and i knew
    about that one anyway. Just like Pirog-geale was 90% done a month
    ago. I make posts on fights when they are official. you're just mad
    that i made a post about the official fight before you, and i did it
    because i'm a REAL BOXING FAN unlike you.

    Oh, i'm sure they're just absolutely quivering at the thought of losing you along with the legion of Pirog and Golovkin fans that make up a predominant portion of their subscriber base. :nut

    But this is a good matchup. 'Great' fight for hardcore boxing fans. But no way in hell is HBO dumb enough to air this fight as a headliner. 2 guys that are about unknown as your average journeymen to the general American audience being sold as a main event? No way Jose! If HBO takes the fight, it'll be aired on an undercard. Epix will probably pick it up though. If not, wouldn't be shocked to see it on Friday Night Fights, Shobox or NBC's sports network.

    The real mystery is, how are any of the networks going to be able to afford Pirog? If what i'm hearing about his purses are correct, he's been making about 1mill. per tomato can over in Russia since the Jacobs fight.
