This is on early hours of Saturday morning at 2am. I might have to get my ESPN subscription now, sit up on Friday night for this one to get myself acclimatised for the following night/morning Mayweather card:thumbsup *One more thing, I signed up to ESPN's 'newsletter' for updates on their sports coverage and clearly stated that boxing is my favourite sport, but the *******s didnt even have the decency to send me this update on their boxing coverage. ------------------------------ Live: Friday Night Fights Two-time Olympic gold medal winner Guillermo Rigondeaux takes on 71-fight veteran Giovanni Andrade from Brazil for a regional WBA super bantamweight title. http://www.espn.co.uk/schedule/
Yep I noticed that myself. I read elsewhere that a status update on Carl Froch's twitter account (if it is infact his official twitter account) that he was doing a photo shoot for ESPN UK?? I would like to believe that ESPN have got their finger out and are going to show the super six??
don't get to excited fellas the ****ers couldn't even bother showing Clinton vs cloud live. this is only a one off FNF card and there won't be another this year wait til there's something substancial before subcribing
Doubt that. They only seem to think we're interested in football. Which is why they broadcast matches from Serie B.
Crrect mate ESPN UK are only showing football NO boxing at the moment .... ESPN USA on the other hand cover plenty of fights .... watch online !
Its a start, great weekend of boxing for me, going to Wolverhampton to see Saville Vs Baguley for the English strap, will be recording kretschamann etc on Eurosport, Daws/Morrison on sky and now this. Will probably watch them all saturday building upto Mayweather/JMM!
I saw Rigondeaux fighting at Planet Hollywood in Vegas, looks awesome, great amateur career, can't wait to see him step up but he isn't very young.
That's true actually. Serie A is bad enough. Also, the amount of baseball thats on ESPN is incredible!! I'm sure it's about 2 different live matches a night or something! Is US Baseball that popular in the UK? Ah well, a live fight on ESPN UK is a start. Hopefully plenty will tune in or sky+ it.
Totally agree. Can't believe people are getting so excited about a Friday Night Fights show live. They had the opportunity to show Woods v Cloud live, and passed it up.
