:rofl Now it does. This version of Jones, this is very near to the truth. It wasn't always china, his punch resistance is bad now. This coming from a Jones fan. Hop's is going to crack that chin.

I dunno about that. If we are considering who they both beat, then no, I don't think so -- not that they are that far a part to be honest. Toney went on to fight guys like Sam Peter, but didn't get the victory. And while he beat Ruiz, he was roided up and caught.

That is the most ******ed comparison I've ever heard. Hopkins will most likely win this fight but he is not, nor has he ever been a pressure fighter and KO artist like Tua. Jone's fight against Green was stopped prematurely IMO...and I think Roy was nervous about fighting over seas for the first time since the Olympics. Again, Hopkins will most likely win this fight....but it will probably be by either UD or late round stoppage....comparing this fight to Tua/Ruiz is the weakest comparison I've ever seen on ESB

    I repeat:

If you don't think the Nunn win was something to brag about, if you think the Barkley win was better than the Nunn win, you should most definitely take up another sport.

You must be joking to say stuff like that about Roy. Underestimate him at your own peril. He has Hopkins number, i promise you that.

    It was, IIRC, for Bowe/Ferguson?

No way it looks like Tua-Ruiz. Even during those couple of seconds Tua was able to throw more punches than Hopkins during a couple of rounds nowadays

I do think the majority of Jones opposition at light heavy was good, but there was a long stretch period where he could have made bigger fights and fought lower caliber opposition like Glen Kelley and the policemen Richard Frazier.
