went to the gym today & the coach matched me up with this guy ,who looked abit ruff ,,shirt off ,,tattoos everywhere ,0ne or two scares on chest etc ,,so i ask him if he's been boxing long ,,,about a year ,then he asks me i say on & off for years i will take it easy ,we will go as hard as you want to ,,,after the first couple of jabs he wasn't that good ,,at the end of the first round the coach tells him to listen to what i tell him,,because I'm wanting to get on the coaching side of boxing this gave me abit of a buzz ,,so i show him some attack and defensive moves & at the end he says to me ,,that was the best training session ive ever had at this gym ,,you could have beat me up & you choose to help me ,,which makes me think he's been in alot of scraps,,so im hoping there may be a place for me to coach at this gym ,,will have to wait and see ,,I'm back at the gym i first started at 26 years ago

:tong It's for your own good.
No, but really. I only let go if they start swinging crazy. Lots of defense drills when I spar inexperienced fighters.
