I'm a complete beginner to boxing 20 years old, only did some at my club at school so I know only some of the basics in terms of actual training. I'm basically trying to find a good gym in NJ between New Brunswick and Newark. Not trying to commute further than that. My goal is to train my ass off while in school/work to see how good I can get and compete in some amateur tournaments. Any ideas ?

I'll try to check it out. I'm definitely going to be looking around in a week or so when school is out. I'm driving from Woodbridge so hopefully it's an easy commute. Seek's like there are free Open Houses on Mondays in May so I'll probably drop by next Monday.
