i was talking to another fighter last night and he told me he cut 7kg for his fight using a water loading method and sauna. He told me if he is fighting friday. On monday he will drink 10lt of water, tuesday will drink 8lt and wednesday will drink 6lt, thurday he will use sauna which i day of weigh in.

Has anyone used this method and if so, did you do it the same way or did you do it using a different method. I need help learning how to cut weight.

if anyone has a special diet or a proven method they would like to share on how to cut weight i would really appreciate it.

1 would like to be able to cut 6 or 7kg of water weight.,

    thanks...

That is incredibly stupid and dangerous, drinking that much water is going to seriously **** up your electrolyte balance.. hyponatremia and possible death.
Through what mechanism that's supposed to work I don't know, sounds ******ed as hell.
If you're that concerned about dropping all that water weight you're never going to do well, move up a weight class and build your strength some more.
Anymore than a 2% loss of water weight has been shown to affect performance, 5% loss causes a significant decrease in performance and anything more than that is going to be seriously detrimental to your health.
If you weigh 150kg and you're trying to drop to the 145kg weight class then go for it, otherwise get a clue and instead look at improving your skills to win your fight. Wrestlers had been doing stupid **** like this for years until they started dying.

You can do 1.5-2 gal/day for a week and then cut back to drinking normally for 2-3 days. Should drop you 5lb or so depending on your size.

Basically when you're drinking 10 litres of water a day you're on the toilet every 30 minutes. When you drop the water your body takes a few days to adjust so you end up pissing out more water then you're taking in.

I tried it myself a few years ago and wasn't a fan of it.

the way it work is by tricking the body to urinate when you don't need to. So over the 4 day cut you will have pissed out a lot of fluid. It tricks your body in to urinating. Then you can do another 2 kg in the sauna.
My mate does this and cuts up to 8kg.
