http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?tim3210&51 <<Thanks, Funny, and here's hoping you let other boxing fans know about this petiton Incidentally, What happened was, some guy on a message board made this and posted it..it's kind of taking off...I know someone in a good position at ESPN....if it gets a lot of signatures I will make sure she sees it
Well...at the risk of sounding a certain way, I think my knowledge is unquestionable as well. To keep it real, though, I know there are very few positions available in this field and my chances are not super but you never know.
Yeah, you never know. Maybe one day they could let me try one night on a show like that where boxing is the theme. See how I come across live to the viewers.
No idea LOL Some guy on another board created it and posted it so I took it and spread it around. Maybe if I get enough names I will pass it on to someone I know at ESPN. You never know
It is not easy to become a color commentator. Few openings and lots of competition for them. Joe Mesi could probably get the job any time he wants it. He looks good and sounds good on camera. Do you?
Well, being as unbiased as possible, I am not sure if I am considered a good looking person or not but iIdo believe that I am more insightful than Joe is, at least in the fights we have both done on ESPN
Insight is always good, but it isn't enough. Can you make people want to pay attention to you? It is a combination of the right look accompanied by the right voice along with the ability to express your views. It is just like boxing, you either have the right stuff or you don't. No amount of training can turn a tomato can into a champion, in the ring or at ringside.
I think Ralph Kramden spelled his name with a K I think I can do the job...and IF I was ever offered anything I would have to assume they would train me in the art in some way. AT LEAST GIVE ME SOME TIPS BEFORE SENDING ME OUT THERE
