VVarren said in an interview yesterday. If Chisora was banned by the BBBC, the Haye fight would not be happening.

If Derek was banned, could they have still gone to the Luxembourg commission? Or is there some gentlemanly agreement that says they can't.

I'm struggling to get my head round the rules here.

Something to do with him being on the EBU's banned boxers list. I assume the EBU have power over Luxbox.

No, as his name would should up on the EBA list of boxers who are banned and all affiliated European commissions (including Luxembourg) would have to abide by that.

This is where they can't do anything about it, they withdrew his license, so they can't do anything to him as he doesn't have a license so can't ban him.

The board WITHDREW his licence, so he wasn't banned. He could have been banned for a set period, instead his licence has been withdrawn indefinitely; so it could have been reinstated at any time by the BBBoC.
