    Thanks. Big rematch.

How much does Lopez usually draw? Give me some other numbers so I can rank him.

Haye should be pretty high on the list, big attendance in football stadiums against Wlad and Chisora, sold out the MEN and the O2 in London numerous times and both have around the 18-20k mark in attendances I believe. Definetly top 10 IMO

I am going on the fights I have been to (and 1 cancelled).

Also the klitschko vs pianeta fight was in a 15,000 seater, not a football stadium.

So going on that €81 euros for the cheap seats, I went to PAC vs Hatton in the cheapest seats and they were $350... Also a 15,000 seater.

I also went to Hatton vs mayweather and they were $750's (can't remember how much the cheap seats were but I wasn't in the first tier even).

And I bought tickets to haye vs klitschko both times and paid far far less and the cheap seats were from memory about €25 euros.

You have to take cost in to account otherwise it doesn't offer a true reflection.

22k for MEN, 20k for O2 and he sold 30k for chisora.

Also obviously it was haye vs klit when it sold 45k (although about 75% klit fans, but take 10,000+ to another country is impressive).

He is however much more popular now than he was then.

This thread is not about the ticket prices.

This is of course true. Promoters are trying to maximise profits not sell as many tickets as possible, obviously.

However, I still claim that the number of tickets sold is a decent enough indicator of pulling power. Not a perfect one, not a very good one, but decent enough. e.g. Does Chad Dawson have more pulling power than Pascal, for example? No. How do we know? Number of tickets sold. Does Chad Dawson have more pulling power than Hopkins? No. How do we know? Tickets sold against a common opponent.

Till now nobody beats the 61.000 in Wladimir against Chagaev I think.

    1. Wladimir Klitschko 25-40k easily (61k record)
    2. Vitali Klitschko 30k easily (43k record)
    3. Haye 20-22k (30k record)
    This content is protected

    6. Bute 10-12k (16,5k record)
    7. Pascal 8-10k (17,8k record)

Let's have some more numbers for Top 10 guys, please!

I think they will have a hard time selling out Bute-Pascal because the tickets are insanely expensive compare to previous fights.

Sorry I do know, what I am saying is it is all relative to the cost of seats as the reason for cost is due to demand... So what I am saying is it shows that mayweather could sell out a football stadium.

Tickets are too expensive. Much too expensive, I agree. It's a shame.

But I think they will still have a sell-out of 20k... the marketing drive will go into overdrive. If Pascal and Bute on their own can sell 17-18k, together, they can sell 20k, even with much, much higher prices. They've already sold 15,000+. Have the celebs already bought their tickets yet?

Arthur Abraham also has mostly around 8-10 Tickets sold. I dont know wich the highest number was.
For example AA-Stieglitz I was 11.000 And AA vs. Stieglitz II was between 7000 and 8000.

Many top fighters could sell out a stadium if the tickets were $1, no?

I'm not doubting that Mayweather could sell 20-30k, if he really wanted to. But he hasn't so far. Let's look at how many tickets have actually sold, at whatever the price happened to be. Imperfect, yeah, but still a good indicator of pulling power, because some fighters like Ward or Dawson could not sell 30k tickets EVEN if they were all priced at $10, imo.
