Help me create a list of boxing's top 20 current draws (tickets sold, not PPVs)

    I know he is retired again but just for reference Hatton sold just over 56,000 at the man city ground and it was a sell out.

    Also calzaghe sold 50,000 in Cardiff but his fight with Hopkins in Vegas sold poorly as did his fight against rjj at MSG (I think due to high prices as they thought his fans would be willing to travel as much as hattons).

    Noted. I believe if he came back now, Hatton would still be a top 3-4 draw worldwide. :good

    I need these figures to be more accurate, guys!

    I can't have Abraham vs Stieglitz at 11k or 15k. Huge difference. What was the exact attendance?

    And are there no other fighters who draw 8k+ on their own regularly?

    And can we get a good handle on the entries in red, with precise figures?

    Come on, we can do this!

    Froch has just sold 20k and his last 2 fights were 10k.

    Obviously Kessler and bute are big names but mack is pretty much unknown to casual British boxing fan.

    Also you still haven't put mayweather who always sells out in Vegas so between 14,500 and 15,000

    Oh and I know Kessler sold 13,500 vs froch for the first fight. 20,000 in UK (don't know if that counts as froch is home fighter) 50,000 vs calzaghe (once again not home fighter). I think he did 31,000 at the parken stadium in Copenhagen also.

    Kessler is another fighter whose fans travel with him.

    We need to know how much Froch sold against Dirrell/Pascal. Then, based on the fact that he's become better known/loved, we can weigh it towards the 10k in Mack. Otherwise, I'd say we can only go on the Mack figure.

    Same goes for Kessler. How much did Kessler draw against Green/Magee?

    I'm sure both are in or close to the Top 10. Let's get some precise numbers so we can rank them.

    Froch is unfair though as he has built his popularity up on only fighting top fighters other than mack.

    He currently would sell out any stadium in Nottingham (something the ufc failed massively on doing).

    I think you have to count froch vs Kessler and vs bute as he is fighting that level of opponent all the time. Also bute is not a name to the casual British fan.
