This. I think he'll do less of it this time around though, because Abraham will make him pay for that stupidity the first time. Dirrell seems to have a particular dislike for being roughed up, and that's what he's going to have to deal with if he clinches Abraham. I can see Abraham wrenching free and clobbering him senseless while Dirrell stands there dumbfounded, wondering why his opponent won't respect the hug.

I'm picking Dirrell by UD. Abraham gives away too many rounds early on in fights. I believe that will prove costly. Unlike Taylor, Dirrell has the stamina and elusiveness to avoid getting tagged by Abraham in the championship rounds when Abraham goes in for the kill.

THis is an easy fight to pick. Dirrell showed in the Froch fight that he does not have a champion's mentality and the will to win - whereas Froch did. Dirrell had buckets more talent, speed and possibly power than Froch - but wasn't willing to do what it took to win the fight. Arthur Abraham has shown that he will never give up and will always fight until the bitter end. His perseverance in the first Miranda fight is a testament to this. He showed in fighting through a horribly broken and disfigured jaw for over half the fight - that he has an iron will and the champion's spirit. Dirrell will not defeat Abraham.

It will probably be closer to Julian Jackson vs Terry Norris with Dirrell playing the part of Norris.

I have a hard time picking this fight. However, I think Dirrell's endurance hasn't really been tested. Even though he hasn't gassed out like Jermain, he's only fought 10 rounds or more twice and both of those fights he was on his bike and didn't really get hit much. I think at this point it's hard to tell how his endurance will hold up if he gets tagged frequently in a fight. In the end, like everyone else, I think if Dirrell survives he takes a decision.

AA is a very underrated body puncher, if anyone watched Froch vs Direll(I know it was diffiult), Froch did not target Dirells body(easier said then done), but I can guarantee AA is going to be digging to Dirells body EARLY! If you think Direll ran against Froch, you have another thing coming against AA. AA tires Direll by round 6 or 7, I know Direll seems like the type that can go 15 no problem, but I am guessing he fatigues later on during the fight while AA's accuracy to the head becomes more visible. Another thing people don't realize is how AA frustrates opponents with his cover. Will DIrell get discouraged hitting gloves?
After much thought, my prediction has changed to
    AA MD ANDRE DIRELL.

Absolutely agree snake, he does not like body punches, that is something his opponents need to exploit.

Abraham KO late in a dreadful but very competitive spectacle.

Dirrel is too open in transition. He drops his hands, sucks at transitioning to and from clinches and to and in between ranges. This defensive inconsistency will undo him in the end. Expect him to bag some early rounds.

I've been going back and forth with this fight. Abraham is a damn good fighter who is sneaky quick and very smart. Dirrell was talking about this and it sounds like he has a great gameplan. My gut feeling is that Abraham will probably catch Dirrell later in the fight and take him out, but there are x-factors. One, Dirrell is fighting at home, and he will be pumped to impress in front of his fans and that place will be rocking. Also, point number 2, Dirrell needs this fight to stay alive so he will be giving it that extra umph to win it. This is a tough fight to call. The safe pick is Abraham by late KO and that will probably be my official pick.

Abraham will ko Dirrell. Unlike Ward, Dirrel's style doesn't seem slick so much as spastic. I think Abraham will catch him and hurt him. Dirrell seems in over his head.
