Help! Weight train or not.

    You don't need weight training. You can do strength based calesthenics and pylometric's and you'll be better for it in the long run.

    I honestly disagree. I would say use them all. You dont have to strength train with weights. You can train in power with them and there is a difference.

    If you re-read my statement, I said, calesthenics and PYLOMETRICS.

    And if you read my statement you would see im talking about training for power with iron. Iron being free weights of course. I also said use plyo and cali with free weights..

    Used to do push ups on 3 boxes ( one for each hand and 1 for both feet) with a 45 pound plate on my back going down so that i stretched my entire pec muscle. Did about 40 of those.
