After a quick look at the threads I didn't see this. HOW?

    Does this not excite people?

this has got to be considered the best middleweight matchup of all time as far as mma is concerned, im a huge fan of both fighters and i refuse to pick who i think will win, all i want is a good entertaining fight...side note, technically this is yet another unification bout for henderson....

I think people have forgotten that Henderson never lost two belts. Out of all of Silvas recent fights I'm not sure if anyone has ever really been worried for him. This is a SERIOUS threat to his title. Hell, its not even his title, it's TWO titles.

This is pure 50-50 match up, with maybe Henderson having the edge as he has mixed it up with big guys like Silva and Jackson. When you think about his strength, power, durability etc it can live with the big guys.

His skills are always iffy. He is very skilled but Quinton was the better man. Silva is horribly skilled but can Henderson put his size on him? Hell, maybe Henderson will outskill him? That would be a great reflection on the bigger guys like Quinton.

Great fight. Very shocked at the weak reaction.

im a bit shocked myself with the lack of buzz, i see this as a bigger fight than his fight with rampage cause anderson silva has been soooo dominant

Im ****ing dying for this matchup you got the Olympic Wrestler with brutal KO power in both hands whos accomplished so much in MMA like winning tournaments in Rings,Pride and UFC and the 1st to hold 2 belts in 2 different weight classes at one time that man being Dan Henderson vs arguablly the best pound for pound fighter in the world and most dominant UFC Champion around the BJJ Blackbelt and owner of the Balet of violence like Muay Thai in Anderson Silva. OH MY GOD cant wait.

Hell, I don't want to jinx it by talking about it too much.

    Seriously.

Henerson is now fighting for the second time in a row in what will be remebered in the future as one of the most important mma fights in history, with Hendo-Silva 2 being somewhere in the top 25 too.

Hell yea, I have always felt this is the best fight out there to make. Of course Couture vs Fedor would be huge... but I always thought this is simply an amazing fight. I love Hendo's chances.

Honestly think this is Hendo's fight to lose. He took savage punches from Wanderlei, he's got a beard and a half. Probably one of the most solid heads in MMA. Thats right, MMA, not just at light heavy. I'd say Mark Hunt is the one guy that has a better chin. Matter of fact, I don't think any relatively known fighter in any combat sport has a better chin than Mark Hunt..

Anyhow. Silva has great balance, very good Jiu Jitsu, but the cage favors the wrestler with the granite skull, who by the way is insanely difficult to submit due to his strength and overall toughness. Overall, have to realize Henderson is one of the hardiest guys in all of MMA.
