Hendo ready to be a HOF?

He's been a future HoF'er (if there was such a thing for MMA) since 2007.

 

Are you serious? Henderson has a case for being the greatest MMA fighter in history. Thinking of his titles in multiple weight classes, his amazing wins at those weights... and the fact that he also beat Big Nog and Fedor! The man is a legend.

Of course it does it adds to his legacy. Fedor had never been KOed before and Henderson comes up a weight class and knocks him out. To answer the question of course hes a HOFer but like Shogun said hes been one since atleast 2007 when he won 2 titles in 2 weight classes. Everything else since Bisping, Franklin, Fedor etc have just been moving him even higher.

Of course he is. If you don't know what makes him a HOF'r you should either study up or switch to water polo. Hendo is a bad mother ****er and has cemented legacy before tonight. It's that much better now

I said that a case could be made for him. Just as strong of a case that could be made for any other fighter. He is by FAR the most accomplished fighter in all of MMA. Winning a UFC tournament, 1999 King of the Rings Champ... Holding titles from two different divisions in Pride at the same time, coming over at his advanced age and winning the Strikeforce title.... wins over the likes of Fedor, Big Nog, Wanderlei Silva, Vitor Belfort, Rich Franklin, Carlos Newton, Bisping, Sobral, Feijao, ect... of course you should know his record and I shoulldn't have to go further.

Considering the fact ALONE that Dan Henderson beat BOTH of what most people consider to be the two Greatest Heavyweights EVER to compete in MMA... and the man's natural weight is 185! Do you understand how amazing that is? To have beaten BOTH Fedor and Big Nog... that feat alone is tremendous (Hendo is the only person to do it)... then throw in the fact that Henderson isn't even a heavyweight! It's mind blowing. You don't think that a case can be made for him? You are out of your mind. Which... we already knew.

Well that's a nice cuddly lame back track and deflection. Im well aware of Hendo's accomplishments. I don't need to you to regurgitate his Sherdog stats.
The problem with you is you have the reasoning logic of a child. By your reasoning Silva, Rampage, Shields etc must all be better fighters than Fedor and Nog right? You completely ignore WHEN these victory's happened and their significance. You're more than happy to sight his win over Wandy but did you see their first fight or have you forgotten that? Hendo got his ass handed to him when he fought a PRIME Wand.
Now im not taking anything away from Hendo. His always been one of my favourite fighters. He's an extremely decorated wrestler and MMA fighter. But you are disingenuous and your argument is simply churlish.
When all is said and done Dan will be a top 10 of all times i have no doubt in my mind about that. But the GOAT? Don't be so F'in ridiculous.
