Possibly, but is this because Froch is a more vulnerable fighter than those two were at their peaks? Pacal and (if he is next) Dirrell could be said to have been unproven prospects at best.
That said, did you watch Pascal's fight against Diaconu? That bloke is no mug and he was brilliant on his way to a points win. We'll wait and see how good Dirrell is.

shut the f*** up mick u idiot!! he was flooered by TAYLOR!!! he looked ordinary and a plodder and got out worked and out thought by taylor until taylor lost steam!

i still question if he is good at WORLD level i think he is not even world class level yet as he hasn't beaten any world class opponents yet who are considered SMW level

Froch should be considered a top fighter and low level P4P. He was an undefeated champ with a good record but then took his game to the next level when he beat Taylor.

  5. Lets just hope Mick doesn't **** this one up like he did with Froch vs Taylor, he needs to get this one on UK T.V and don't ask for silly money like he did with the Taylor bout

How can you go beyond world title level? That doesn't make any sense. Sure, if he'd unified all the titles or dominated his division for so long but he hasn't even began to start on the SMW division. We should really have a show called "Promoters Say The Funniest Things".

He makes it sound like Carl Froch could sell sand to the Arabs. TV didn't give a **** about Froch for a combination of reasons. That is what determines who is a marquee fighter, and TV determined he is far from worth their outlay.

Along with the fact you can count his top wins on two fingers, he's hardly a De La Hoya, Pacquiao or Mayweather.

A Marquee fighter who couldn't get a TV deal in his homeland when he was fighting a big name American?

How does that work then. :huh

I suppose talking shite is part of the boxing promoters job description though.

Froch HAS to fight that level of competition to make any money. He's not popular on any real level like Hatton was. There was a reason Hatton could make so much money in the WBU days - because he was a marquee fighter, it didn't matter if the opponents were nothing special.

****, at least Hatton achieved something by beating Tyszu - all Froch did was beat an untested Pascal and a shop-worn Taylor who was thrashing him for 9 solid rounds. Wow - how competitive.

Maybe he meant to say 'World title level is beyond Froch, he should be fighting in Marquees'.

Fat mick can sure talk ****, marque fighter my arse. I guess what he meant to say was that Froch could sell out a top of the range B&Q garden marquee.

Mick could not sell Bin Laden to the americans let alone a boxer to the public. Fat tit could not even get a tv deal for the Taylor fight and his ringcard girls look like transvestites who have been 6 rounds with Amir Khan.

And how many top level wins on foreign soil has the Robot had?

A washed up Beyer? or a pile of crud in mundine who even ottke clocked.

If Froch had his way, he'd have Inkin, Calzaghe and few others on his record - but they didnt fancy the job did they?
