Hennessy loses out on Fury v Chisora

Not saying it does just trying to put a positive spin on things for him. he has had a decent run over the past decade or so.

He guided 2 of his fighters to world titles and has steered other fighters to shots at titles and has been involved in numerous world, Euro and British title fights. Steering many of his fighters to these titles himself.

Not a bad record all things considered.

If Murray and Barker get world title fights he can also know that he presided over a large part of their career and helped them being ranked so highly if ultimately he was unable to deliver the fights.

 

Easy with the slights. Mick won the bid. Mick gave a date and a venue. The venue has been kicked back. Nothing to do with money. Now they bid again. I think a lot of people are forgetting the years of solid Hennessy shows with a lot of good quality and often 50-50 fights.
Fighters always leave promoters, it's the business.

I think the jibes are more as a result of us lot pissed off we wont see the fight any time soon rather than personal digs at him to be honest.

 

Apparently this was rejected by the BBBofC because Mick wanted to stage it in Spain
