    On this particular effort, I find the color wavers all over the place and I find it a distraction. The film seems to have been taken from a 16mm dupe at least once removed from the original print (and likely even twice removed) and the definition suffers as a consequence. It's a worthy effort, but hopefully it will be improved over time. I would still prefer watching an original 16mm print of the fight. I may have to dig up my 16mm print of the fight and see how it compares.

    The Tunney-Dempsey color film posted a few days ago wavers as well, but I don't find it quite as distracting.

    The good thing is that we now have options to view these films in a variety of ways.

    I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade. If you enjoy it, then that's good.
