Billy "please hit my chin" Conn. He looked like crap, Armstrong looked great.
I like his trainer. She could train me any day in whatever position she liked.

    Thanks for raising this point.

I was wondering what Conn was doing but I realized he was just trying to move out of the way Armstrong without punching, similar to how one would play tag.

There were plenty of times he could have punched back but he only seemed interested in evading punches..which looked really hard to do. Honestly, I have a whole new perspective of Armstrong

Enry....when Someone ask me what are swarmers I replied Henry Amstrong.
Henry was first real preassure fighter who wore fighters down and SRR was glad that Amstrong was way past his prime!

    Well he was!
Dempsey was not real swarmer but more like Tyson and Langford small swarming counterpuncher who outpunch you mot wear you down.
Godoy was also one of the first real swarmers of that era.

You didn't say swarmer. You said, and this is the direct quote: 'first real preassure fighter'. I can't tell you who the first was, but I can tell you that there were 1000s before Armstrong. And Harry Greb was a swarmer. He was years before Armstrong.

    Tom Sharkey was not swarmer.
    He was slugger/brawler!
Standing 5 ft 8 in (1.73 m) or 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m) tall, Sharkey was a standup brawler, who came right after his opponents. Sharkey was easy to hit, but rough and tumble and a hard puncher. He had unusually broad shoulders for a man of his height, and sported a tattoo of a star and battleship on his chest.
Sounds like a slugger to me.

You are right but not 100%!
Preassure fighter is swarmer and that is same thing.
Greb was first swarmer with wearing oponents with his speed but he used more speed and footwork rather than bobbing and weaving like Hank.
