He was a better fighter than any of the four but he might have been a bit too on the small side to beat them
Yeah, I especially don't see him beating a giant welterweight in Hearns. Can any former lightweight beat Hearns??
If there was one who could then it’s probably somebody we’d least expect or never heard of and they’d do it because of some stylistic technicality. Roberto Duran was possibly the best lightweight of all time ( or certainly top 3 ) and we saw what happened to him.
How? What did he do better than any of them? Inside fihhting well obviously although i think Durán wasa tad bit better in that regard, but other than that i don't see how Hank was superior to any of the 4 Kings skill wise
too small, keep in mind Garcia was a Welter cum Middle, point being not as big as Hearns, SRL, Hagler and not as compact or strong as Duran. Mind you, I could see a Garcia vs Duran fight being interesting and then maybe Hagler. But as too the Thread, Hank is too small, too big an ask!
Well…. He presided over 3 world titles in 3 divisions at the same time at one point. His output was off the charts and never stopped throwing punches. He was stopped only twice in 180 fights. Has 13 wins against hall of fame claimants. Beat 16 world champions.
Being stopped only twice in 180 fights ? Ok well his defense was obviously better than most His infighting game is regarded as being exceptional His output was higher than most His adaptability was among the best given the number of different style he faced and keep in mind I already stated that I didn’t pick him to beat the fabulous four
they all beat him up. he was dirty as **** but the refs and judges were paid for. i like a dirty fighter. he wanted to win. but vs these guys just no.
