15 rounds at Jr Welterweight, both at there peak, ( Pryor doesn’t have access to the “mixed water bottle “ lol)

    Well this would be entertaining
I'd take Pryor but not sure, it could go either way

I doubt anyone is KOing Armstrong around this weight (tho if anyone was it'd most likely be Pryor)

This would be a war, I'd favor Armstrong 3-2

Entertaining, but Armstrong is levels above.

There is a reason he is a legend.

Armstrong beat Barney Ross with Ross at 142 lbs, right above the Jr. WW level.

Fairly even fight IMO but I would give Armstrong the edge and Pryor winning would be a huge upset. But I think either guy could realistically win, this nice contrast of styles.

Pryor fought in the modern era against modern skilled guys. Armstrong fought in a primitive era and had primitive skills. Pryor by massacre.

A much older friend of mine fought Armstrong in Hank's late amateur career or as a pro sparring partner.
He said Armstrong looked "crude", but then he began beating the ch!te out of you no matter what you did.

Explain to me how this has anything to do with my comment? Armstrong beat crude guys from his era. How does that equate to him being able to beat modernly skilled fighters like Pryor?

I think my friend was basically trying to say that things from outside the ring, sometimes turn out to be different when you get inside the ring with the object of your attention. Kinda like Ali pre-FOTC saying over and over: "Joe Frazier whup me? Slow, short Joe Frazier whup me?" And then you end up on your butt in the 15th round.

Modernly skilled? What does that even mean, Pep and Robinson are old school and are clearly more skilled than anyone today.
