LaMotta too big and too strong. Knocks Armstrong out.

Sorry mate, this is a terrible match up. LaMotta was far too big - he struggled to get inside the middleweight limit sometimes - whilst a peak Armstrong was a big featherweight going on lightweight who managed to beat welterweights.

You'd be talking about 132lbs versus 165lbs if they were allowed to get comfortable.

    don't be silly, like l-hws fight S-HWs

yes armstrong made a trip into mw, but garcia was a WW cum MW and armstrong even smaller.

Jake was a genuine MW cum L-HW. two completely different animals here!

LaMotta lost to Robinson and Zivic, who weren't exactly huge, though.

Lamotta easy. He was huge!!!! Both come forward fighters, but Lamotta would be too strong and would probably knock him out.

Yeah, LaMotta was just too big and looking at the styles of those two we know that the fight would be an agressive one and the size is an important thing in a fight like these imo....

If they fought under today's weigh-in rules, LaMotta may have 30 lbs on Armstrong.

If this were basketball think of Jason Kidd challenging Charles Barkley to a fight

    Bridge too far.

Granted Armstrong was the mw champ buy he was fortunate that he was challenging a former welterweight he'd already beaten.

LaMotta will beat him up in what should be a great fight whilst it lasts.
