Does Henry hook his way to victory,or does David have it away on his TOE ?

    Cooper died last year.
That probably puts him high on the list of Haye's possible comeback opponents.

    Has Haye gone HAYwire ?

How can he justify demanding purse parity with Vitali Klitschko. He would be very much the challenger this time. And coming off a loss.

I think Haye cuts him and stops him actually.

Thats a lot of speed and power. He is a bit fragile, but not as much as is frequently stated, and I don't think Cooper lands the knockout shot before his faced is carved to ribbons.

And Haye defends lefts WAY better than he does rights, for whatever reason.

Henry Cooper was a really good fundamental boxer. The man was not only good enough to floor Ali, he actually boxed him pretty well too.
I think Haye's got holes in his game that someone like Cooper might expose.
Haye's a bit wild in his attack, and when he goes defensive he seems to shut down his own offense. He looks like he's waiting to counter all the time, and he can pounce - but if he's up against someone who lives by the left jab as the bread-and-butter punch, as Cooper did, and uses it to box and circle and keep the match rolling like that, tipping his man off-balance, I think Haye might well come unstuck.

ON the other hand, Haye can punch. And Cooper didn't have the greatest chin in the world either.

Cooper had more seasoning and was the more rounded pro, however I think haye was always capable of beating cooper to the draw in the way patterson was able to and deck him quite early. Henry is the better fighter but he might not cope with haye's speed lead shots from outside. . I think the way Haye dealt with enzo maccarinelli and gurov was impresive at cruiserweight. It showed if a boxer stood off and boxed he could be quick on the draw and get in first. However david did not ice all of them, he could not do a damn thing with ismail abdual who was no great shakes. However my gut feeling Haye could work off coopers jab and pounce. Haye was a one trick pony in that this was his one party trick that could make him beat a potentialy better fighter by getting in first. That said cooper was a lot better than fragomeni who gave haye life and death...

Haye is too quick and too powerful for cooper.

I think haye would be a top contender in most era's based on his athletic attributes.
