How does Hank do against the following?

    Montell Griffin
    Glen Johnson
    Dariusz Michalczewski
    Antonio Tarver
    Reggie Johnson
    Virgil Hill

Curious how often times forgotten fighter would do in the boards eyes against some recent world class LHW's.

    Thoughts?

For a second there, I thought it said Homicide Hank and I thought 'Jeez, middleweight was pushing it but I bet he'd still beat most of them.'

Henry really was at the tailend of his career during his stay at 175.

I will say now none of them knock him out except possibly DM on accumulation and because they wouldnt let him take the kind of punishment he could take in his day. I do think Dariusz outpoints him.

I reckon he beats the Johnsons...Id give him a shot against Griffin but would have Montell the favorite.

Tarver may just have to many physical advantages here.

I would have thought it would be fairer putting him in 160-168 matchups...I find it a little harsh on Henry considering he would be undersized and the only form to go on for his 175 campaign was when he was starting the fade after a long career. Interesting thread nonetheless, Im a big fan of Henry.

You seen Hank vs Tiger Russ.?..just about one of the best middleweight brawls Ive ever seen..Fairly one sided on the cards but great two way action throughout.

Hank really was at his peak at 160. He was past his prime when he moved up to LHW, and was really more of a journeyman and fringe contender there (as opposed to the dangerous leading contender he had been at 160). Having said that, he showed in fights such as against Mauro Mina (which I thought he won) that he was still dangerous at that weight.

I think he'd overpower Griffin, and he'd have a shot against fighters like Dariusz and Glen Johnson who came to him or stood in front of him. The boxers like Hill and Reggie Johnson would probably be the most problem for him.

I have not, I'll definitely look into it now though. On youtube, I'm guessing?

I'm getting pretty interested in Hank lately, honestly.

I've heard some people peg him as a ATG banger at MW... What are your thoughts on that Rock?
