    I've seen it. Tyson is clearly someone not suited for amateur boxing. Imagine him before headgear. He could've easily become Olympic HW champion I think, but in a sense it was a blessing that he didn't. His HW career could begin sooner. I could be over-emphasizing the headgear. Tyson might've bee a little too green. It definitely did not help, though. Then again, that's a 10-8 round with the knockdown so I think I'm right.

    Good point well made IB. Balanced as well. In no way do I think you're a Tyson detractor, because I don't have my head up his arse, despite ranking him as one of the best HWs of all time and at his best one of the best fighters I have ever seen. P4P. Ever.

    (btw Pete - the am's may not have always had headgear but they sure as **** never had 10-8 knockdown rounds either)

    Why would anybody feel the need to make an excuse over a pair of amateur losses? I dont even excuse him for Douglas.

    It's a different ballgame. Tillman was better both times out.
