    Probably Wharton's best performance. The first guy to legitimately stop Galvano. Cracking left hook to end it.

    I don't think Henry was ever really the same after the Eubank fight. He took well over 500 clean hard punches.

    That seems a little harsh. Neither was great in the sense of being cut out for global success, but neither were they poor by domestic standards.

    Both had pockets of success with Benn owing to a smidgen more than just size, IMO. (Benn rated Piper's as the best jab he ever faced, with Thulani Malinga's 2nd and that of American journeyman Lenzie Morgan 3rd; Benn also held Wharton in high esteem and said Wharton had made him **** blood for a week, and that he was a fan of Wharton's in the amateurs)

    They had very different skill-sets, but they were both effective, up to a certain level. (namely, just shy of world)

    Based on their Benn performances, I'd see Piper carrying a lead into the late going where he might get lain flat.

    Fair enough. Wharton did indeed have a helluva left hook, and Piper a helluva chin..didn't he finish the Benn fight on his feet ...rsf stoppage?

    Will you be doing a RBR of Lee v Korobov and how do you see it panning out?
