Theres a little clip of Hearns sparring McCallum at the beginning.

And Toney-McClellan in the end of the video.

    Damn! Toney-McClellan footage is excellent.

Almost like a blueprint of the real fight.

Gerald looked pretty good in the first round.

But Toney adjusted and took Gerald to school (well, sparring version of it).

Gerald even pushed Toney's head down - a small sign of frustration?

Hearns looked pretty good against McCallum although it looked more like light sparring session.

Steward did the boxing world a great service by releasing these videos.

Hearns as expected had a visible speed advantage over McCallum which would've allowed him to likely outpoint him especially early on in a fight.

McCallum never really had the kind of remarkable reflexes that you must possess in order to get away from a Hearns jab consistently. His technical skill allowed him to hang in there though and in a real fight he would have surely put on a lot more pressure. McCallum's bodywork and better inside fighting skills may have paid off in a 15 round contest but over a shorter distance he may not be able to catch up to Hearns early enough.

Would be interesting to see how Hearns would react to Mike's body punches. The effect of them on McCrory was quite sudden once he started to find the mark.

Knowing how good Toney's chin was I reckon he'd do the cuter work in a bout withG-Man, But McClellan had an iron beard himself so would he outwork Toney or would 'Lights Out' use his way superior defence and reflexes to outpunch G-Man even though his feet will leave him in the punching range of the taller, longer G'?

It'd be a ****ing war that much is for true. Toney for me. Classier.
