You have accused a poster of being racist. Why? For bringing up the racist color line Dempsey embrased and accused him of 'reverse racism' for questioning a racist practise. You're the one crying racism, if you can't handle

Now your blabbering on about 'why should the white race bear responsibility of the past'. No one's talking about the 'white race' you senial old ****, we are referring specifically to Dempsey and the color line, learn to follow a conversation or shut up

 

RSN why are you putting words in Duraniums mouth and claiming racism when the obvious racist is yourself. The fact you want to completely ignore the color line and paint it as insignificant proves that.

Does the truth hurt you that Dempsey was a beneficiary of the color line and careful match making who never fought the best of his time until he faced Tunney, where he ultimately failed.

PS Powderpuff you mention about me putting words in Duranium's mouth - if you go back and read his posts - he was the one to bring up how blacks have dominated the history of the sport??? So again don't really know what you're talking about there (clearly he has the issue otherwise the subject of black & white would never have come up - again he was the one to raise the race thing so clearly he is the one with the problem about it) - nobody brought it up until he did - PPS the Sharkey bout does anything but show that Dempsey had a fair amount left!!?? He was taking a shellacking from Sharkey and saved himself (much like Tyson did against Botha - which is why I brought that bout up earlier as an equally ridiculous argument) - you call me a rascist but I'm black so whats the deal there??? :huh

Cheers Burt - i think we sorted those guys out - 95% of people on here are perfectly reasonable - its just that there's maybe 6 or 7 who have huge chips on there shoulder - either rascist white guys/rascist black guys or politically brainwashed whites/blacks who champion a cause just because they think it makes them appear intelectual or a bit right on - when really they're just making themselves sound silly - power puncher clearly also harbours a great deal of resentment toward folk from earlier generations to his also because in his little mind everyone who grew up through those eras were part of a primitive time and if you were white you'd definately have to have been a racsist either at some point or other - he is clearly not ready to show any kind of respect to anyone as only he is right obviously - but hey - don't let asholes like him put you off posting on here because I guarantee you the other 95% of people on here backed you against that jerk - another unanimous decision points win for you :happy
