    From Fightnews:

Cruiserweight champion Giacobbe Fragomeni won the vacant title and according with the WBC Rules, has to make two mandatory defenses. The mandatory fight is Fragomeni vs. Krzystof Wlodarczyk. Purse bid date: December 19, 2008. An elimination fight was approved between Herbie Hide and Matt Godfrey. Purse bid date: December 19, 2008

Wahay good for Herbie. He`s been busy enough. Not sure he has the skills to win a world title again but im sure it will be interesting while it lasts.

Herbie has a great chance to beat both these two. Not sure how good Godfrey is, the yanks are hot and cold on him. Frag is ok but nothing special at all.

Good news. Herbie put together an okay comeback. An eliminator is okay me thinks.

Saw Fragomeni's last fight last night on Eurosport, he looked decent, good pressure fighter, but if Herbie can pull out some slick moves he could beat him imo

If Herbie can't put him away then I think Frag is too tenacious and consistent for him. He'll break him down and beat him up.

Well he may as well go for it - for those who recognise the WBO, he may become one of very few to drop a weight and win a title.

He'll struggle against Fragomeni; decent chin and throws back plenty in return. I think Herbie will crack before the Italian.

    Don't know much about Godfrey.
He's 18-1 with 10 knockouts, so a lot less experience than Herbie but seems to be a good boxer. Apparently had a real ding-dong with Nwodo in August, behind on the cards and floored before hammering him in the 4th.

Herbie's done pretty good to get this far, considering he seemed done and dusted. 11 fights in just over 2 years, snagging himself the WBC International CW belt along the way...if you want to make a comeback, it's the right way to go about it.

Yeah from what i've seen of Fragomeni (which to be fair I think is only the Haye fight and his last fight against the Czech) he's quite relentless, and can take a punch too.
