at the age of 42 hide is in trainning to make a comeback in April

How far do you think hide will go? He was ranked number one by the wbc at cruiser weight last time he was active

Would love to see him smash tony bellew and the build up would be interesting too

    Thoughts please gentlemen

    To past it.
Shame as had he been around now and with cruisers now being 200lb in his prime he beats all current champs

with his power he's always a danger. with his chin he better hope he has some speed and movement left though, wich I don't expect.

He's been in jail and probably has no money.
I was a great HH-fan in the 90's. He already tried to make a comeback a couple of years ago, but all he does now is fight for money.

As a former two time Heavyweight title holder, who fought Rid**** Bowe and Vitali Klitschko at or near their peak. That he fought in an exhibition 'prizefighter' suggests he had seen much better days; that was five years ago.

Hide looked 'merely' shot on the comeback before, the one before he suffered the first bad cut, when he was flattened by Chingangu, while being billed as the potential first 'name' opponent for Audley, that was nearly 14 years ago!

Herbies a nice chap surrounded by bad influences..

    This will end badly..

Such a shame because I always rated the way he kept climbing off the canvas when he lost to Bowe..

    That loss couldve made him..

That was one of the weirdest HW titlefights I've ever seen. Hide had Bowe in serious trouble everytime he landed a punch but didn't seem to realize that, and he himself went down a couple of times just due to Bowe's pressure.
Hide lost that fight due to pure fear imo.

Herbie Hide could fight Danny Williams at HW for the Last of the Summer Wine championship

Quite possible, I could easily see this as the opening four rounder on a Moldovan small hall show.

He's a 42 year old man, I think he ought to know by now what's right, and wrong and the kind of people NOT to hang around with. Sounds like a bad seed to me.

Hide would probably win pretty easily, as sad as it sounds.
