Apparently he has sued the WBC as well. Fightnews has a bit on it but no real info.

Any real news yet? Sad that he didn't get his WBC title shot before calling it a day.

 

It's surprising. He's been due a title shot for a long time, you'd have thought he'd at least take the payday before he calls it a day.

It's a pity he never got his shot, not sure he deserved it but he was meant to get it, so he should have got it.

He'd have been crushed, but that's not the point.

 

Anything more official on this? I don't take what the WBC says as gospel.
