I agree but Marciano was a better inside fighter Dempsey and Ibeabuchi.

If getting beaten by Lennox Lewis means you're worthless then that's bad news for a lot of fighters.

He would be dangerous, specifically to Demsey he leaned forward too much, but Louis and Marciano would be ahead even if they were stopped, Marciano dealt with Walcott and Charles Tua didn`t have enough in his locker to beat those guys.

Not for fighters like Frazier who`s head movement got him through Ali`s jab, Ali would have been far too quick and nimble for Tua.

It depends on Hide. If he boxes carefully and doesn't gas, he could win a 10 or 12 round decision.

Maskeav, who's much slower than Hide, had Tua beat on points until he gased late. Hide could do the same.

The variable for Tua are is he in shape? How big is the ring? Does he want to press it after being hit hard?

Hide's chin wasn't that terrible in his prime. He took several punches from Bowe. Later on Bowe called him the hardest puncher he every fought. Still Hide margin for error is thin.

    I'd slightly favor Tua.

I don't know what you're trying to prove to me. I don't think anybody has ever said Tua would beat any fighter who ever existed. The blueprint for beating him is pretty obvious. When it comes to punchers, he was top order though. That's the long and short of it. I don't think that should be controversial.

And he could go toe to toe with Frazier any day.

No, because I know that he doesn't belong in the same ring as those men.

He is a failed contender, who people routinely pick over all time greats.

The simple logic behind this folly is power + chin = greatness, and the reality of what makes a great fighter is a lot more complex.

It isn't worth two buckets of spit if it is all that you have got!

Elite power in both hands. Elite chin. I think you'd be surprised how far that takes you @ HW. Enough to beat Foreman.

Not particularly a fan of either. Just making observations. The fact you grouped Tua with Baer should speak for itself, surely.

Tua by KO. Either in early rounds (if Hide decides to brawl) or in the late rounds (if Hide chooses to box). I would only give Hide a chance to outpoint fat version of Tua, but even in this case I'd still favor Tua to stop him late

I am not saying that he was great or he was greater than them in legacy but it is irrelevant in h2h fantasy fights. Norton is greater than Tua and i could not imagine a single chance for Norton in this fight. So keep with your Eternal argument " he did beat more ranked contenders" that we both know that it does not work like that

Oh, I surely do. Post-hiatus Foreman to be specific. What a lumbering punching bag.
