Seriously, like I said in the other thread, this is sheer lunacy. Hide has perhaps the worst chin among rated HWs of the last 30 years, Dempsey is one of the hardest punchers ever. Dempsey brutalized far more durable fighters than Hide - and he had an excellent chin. He would walk right through Hide and destroy him, in short order.
Of course!!! Lewis's chin was shaky - Hide's was Grade A china. Only Fraudley is worse, imo - at least it took decent fighters to starch Hide.
I have an equally provocative answer. Hide has a snowballs chance in hell of KTFO Dempsey. It takes a brave man to pick a china chin over an ATG banger.
