    He saw he would have to fight an undefeated prospect who looked good so far in the finals so he pulled out over a little nick on his eye, he thought it was just tomato cans all the way but it turns out one of the unknowns who was an excellent amatuer and still undefeated was better than expected so he protected his world ranking and pulled out.

    Hide won his first fight but got cut and looked **** & slow & shot.

    The cut had stopped in the 3rd round and doc said he's okay to go on etc.

    He won his first fight and then like 20 minutes later, even though the doc said he's okay, he pulled out... he realized he's faded as **** and might not win.

    a little nick? why would anyone ranked number two continue to fight on a stupid prizefighter card with the possibility of being stopped by someone he could have otherwise brushed aside? all because of a head butt

    Herbie runs away from nogotiating a fight with Francisco "The Wizard" Palacios so that he can win this tournament and he looks like ****. No wonder he wanted to hide from The Wizard. He would be counted out.

    Continue, get in a clinch with his opponent which re-opens the cut meaning the doctor stops it which ****s up his his world ranking, a possible chance of a world title fight + higher pay days...... or retire from the tournament, let the cut heal and keep the ranking.
